Logitrans CEO Salem Salhi presented an ambitious development strategy aimed at strengthening logistics support for Algerian exporters to Africa. The company has set up a dedicated export service to neighbouring countries, with 99 shipments already completed in 2025, notably to Mauritania, Tunisia, and Senegal. It plays a central role in regional integration, particularly through the management of the Tindouf border post, considered a gateway to West Africa.
Logitrans has an extensive fleet, over 1,300 of its own trucks and several thousand chartered. Thanks to these resources, the tonnage transported has increased to more than 5 million tons in 2024. The company has invested more than 14 billion dinars to enhance its equipment and infrastructure, aiming for a turnover of 10.5 billion dinars in 2025.
A special effort is being made in southern Algeria, with a budget of 12 billion dinars for 400 trucks to ensure fuel supplies, among other things. Logitrans is also involved in strategic projects such as the Gara Djebilet–Tindouf–Béchar railway line, demonstrating its key role in Algeria's logistical and economic ambitions.
