Vietnam – Algeria’s joint willpower to strengthen economic relations

Speaking to the press after the reception, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyên Thành Vinh stressed that Vietnam and Algeria had good traditional relations and that both sides had discussed ways to further promote the development of these relations in the future.

The Vietnamese diplomat said the two countries want to bring economic relations up to the level of political relations. Therefore, the two countries plan to increase the number of high-level visits and possibly organize a meeting of the Joint Committee on Bilateral Cooperation in May in Hanoi.

He also thanked the competent Algerian bodies for their support for his mission in Vietnam.
