This initiative is part of a strategy of investment in research, innovation and entrepreneurship, aimed at strengthening the university's role in national socio-economic development.

During an inspection visit, Minister Baddari emphasized that the university is no longer limited to its traditional academic mission, but is now integrated into its economic environment. The creation of six start-ups, already established on campus, marks a significant step forward, with a target of 32 start-ups by the end of 2025, and the university's ambition to become an incubator for innovative projects adapted to market needs.

The Minister also inaugurated the Sports Academy at Algiers 3 University, which aims to become a centre of excellence in the field of sport by identifying and nurturing young talent, in line with international standards.

He also opened the "Interfaces Hub", a space dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation, including a business gas pedal and an entrepreneurship development centre (CDE). He supervised the domiciliation of six new start-ups and handed out certificates of funding for the prototypes of 26 innovative student projects.

Finally, he met 50 young entrepreneurs who had benefited from financing, among the 400 trainees trained at the CDE. These initiatives confirm Algiers 3 University's commitment to fostering innovation and providing students with the tools they need to become entrepreneurs, thereby training a new generation of qualified graduates involved in the country's economic development.
