This mutual cooperation should benefit not only the two countries, but also their allies, in particular the Africans who want to join the BRICS alliance (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa).

Algeria and several other Arab and African countries have already ringed at the door of the BRICS’ group, which says it welcomes their candidacy and is committed to integrating them into the club of non-Western economic powers. Decisions will be taken soon.

Algeria’s decision on whether to join the group is likely to be taken at the BRICS’ next summit in August. Two months before this decisive meeting, President Tebboune is defending in Moscow his new economic vision that aims to make Algeria, a more prosperous country and a more prosperous nation.

The Algerian government’s comprehensive financial and economic reforms in recent years will structure the production, investment, and yield initiatives of the next few decades... This vision will gear the government’s actions for the future, which should speed up the growth. The Algerian market’s attractiveness and financial stability would attract foreign investors, in particular from Russia, who have already shown interest in the Algerian market. Algeria’s new economic vision places the country among the strongest candidates to join the BRICS.
