Air Algérie finalizes acquisition of Tassili Airlines

On Saturday, the national airline Air Algérie formalized and finalized the transfer of ownership of Tassili Airlines, following the agreement signed with the holding company Sonatrach for international and support activities.

Air Algérie announced the creation of “Domestic Airlines”, a new entity dedicated to domestic air transport, in line with the guidelines laid down by the President of the Republic. The aim is to reorganize the integrated company to optimize its operational efficiency and enhance its domestic market. The new airline's first commercial flight is scheduled for the end of August.
