Ceramics: Spain's Port of Castellón seeks to strengthen ties with Algeria

According to local media outlet Castellón Plaza, the Port of Castellón is negotiating the launch of new container lines with Algeria for the export of raw materials for the ceramics industry.

The president of the Port Authority of Castellón, Rubén Ibáñez, has announced the strengthening of container shipments to Morocco and Ireland, as well as the resumption of trade with Algeria, marked by the reopening of a first shipping line in August, following the normalization of trade relations between the two countries. The port is planning a new trade mission to Algeria, the second of the year. Positioned as a key logistics hub for the ceramics industry, PortCastelló is focusing on its external strategy and incentives to increase its competitiveness and meet the economic needs of the region.
