October and November promise to be dynamic months for the Algerian economy, particularly at SAFEX, with a series of trade shows and exhibitions promoting national production. These events offer major opportunities for manufacturers and economic operators to promote their expertise and establish partnerships.
Trade shows cover a wide range of strategic sectors:
· Agri-food: with BEVALG (October 4-7), a major event dedicated to the beverage and liquid food industry, unique in Africa and the Middle East.
· Training and technology: FormaTech Expo (October 6-9) brings together stakeholders in training, digitalization, and business, with an eye toward the challenges of tomorrow.
· Textile: a trade show dedicated to the textile sector (October 6-8) highlights the potential for industrial relocation and job creation in this field.
· Circular economy: the REVADE trade show, organized by CACI and AND, is dedicated to waste recovery and recycling, highlighting the importance of ecological transition.
· Trade and export: ECSEL EXPO (October 15-18) aims to strengthen African trade links, with more than 250 exhibitors and an opening onto the continental market.
· Healthcare: two major trade shows — ImLabOp (in October) and CLINVEST EXPO (November 17-19) — highlight the challenges of medical equipment, hospital innovation and investment in the healthcare sector.
· Culture: SILA (October 29 - November 8), the Algiers International Book Fair, remains a pillar of national cultural life, attracting publishers, authors, and readers from around the world.
· Energy: KAHRABA Expo (in November) provides a space for reflection and discussion on issues relating to electricity and renewable energies, a key sector for Algeria's energy sovereignty.
These events, covering a variety of sectors (agri-food, health, technology, energy, culture, etc.), are indicators of Algeria's economic dynamism. They go far beyond simple trade shows: they strengthen cooperation and investment and illustrate the country's growing openness to the world.
