Algeria and Slovenia aim to strengthen their economic cooperation by expanding their partnerships to strategic sectors, including heavy industry, the environment, artificial intelligence, and space activities. This momentum follows on from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's state visit to Slovenia last May. Minister Rezig highlighted Algeria's attractive business climate, providing a gateway to African and Arab markets. A two-day economic forum, organised by CREA and the Slovenian Embassy, facilitated B2B meetings between companies from both countries across various fields, including higher education, health, and start-ups. A memorandum of understanding between AAPI and SPIRIT Slovenia is currently in preparation to promote the exchange of information and stimulate investment, particularly in agriculture and industry.
