Agro-industrial cotton factory, another strategic project relaunched in Adrar

It was inspected by Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir, on Monday as part of his visit to the wilaya of Adrar. The agro-industrial cotton farm project belonging to the AGRODIV agri-food group will soon be delivered.

A 5,000-hectare farm, classified as state-recovered property, is undergoing integrated rehabilitation to restart its activities. The Minister of Industry attended a technical presentation that included an inventory of assets and a rehabilitation plan developed with specialised consulting firms. A partnership with the Spanish company LS ALCANTARA SYSTEM has been established to develop local expertise in agro-industrial management. The work currently underway involves the restoration of wells, water networks and electrical connections. The Minister has called for the rapid removal of obstacles and adherence to the schedule to restart the farm and its industrial unit as soon as possible.
