Digitisation of exporters' refunds: A major step forward

Economic operators active in exports are invited to submit their refund applications for the year 2025 via the digital account management platform of the Special Fund for the Promotion of Exports (FSPE).

The Ministry of Foreign Trade has announced the digitisation of the transport and shipping cost reimbursement process via the Special Fund for the Promotion of Exports (FSPE). This reform aims to terminate administrative delays, encourage exporters and strengthen the competitiveness of Algerian products internationally. Operators have until 1 December to benefit from this measure. ANEXAL President Tarek Boulmerka welcomed the move, describing it as a break with old bureaucratic practices, while calling for the digitisation process to be extended to the entire export ecosystem. Economist Brahim Guendouzi announced that the FSPE aims to reduce the burden on exporting SMEs and promote their access to foreign markets, as part of the national strategy to diversify exports beyond hydrocarbons.
