NAPEC 2025: Mr Arkab meets with leaders of major global energy companies

On the sidelines of the NAPEC 2025 International Exhibition in Oran, Arkab held bilateral meetings with ExxonMobil and Chevron, respectively, headed by John Ardill and Joe Cook. Discussions focused on opportunities for partnership with Sonatrach in the areas of hydrocarbon research, exploration, and exploitation, with a particular focus on technological innovation, sustainability, and compliance with environmental standards.

The minister emphasized that Algeria's new legislative framework for hydrocarbons creates an attractive investment climate, ensuring the safe and sustainable exploitation of energy resources. These exchanges reinforce Algeria's position as a reliable partner in the global energy market.
