Algeria and the AfDB affirm their commitment to strengthening inter-African cooperation

On Monday, Mohamed Arkab, Minister of State for Hydrocarbons and Mines, welcomed Sidi Ouled Teh, President of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB), to his ministry.

During a discussion on renewable and sustainable energy projects, Minister Mohamed Arkab reaffirmed Algeria's commitment to inter-African cooperation. He highlighted several priority areas: the use of gas and LPG, the exploitation of mineral and phosphate resources, and seawater desalination. For his part, Ouled Teh praised Algeria's efforts in training and geological research, while highlighting its experience in the energy sector. He stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration between Algeria and the African Development Bank (AfDB).
