Celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week: Favourable opinion for the financing of more than 2,000 projects

Since yesterday, Akli Mohand Oulhadj University in Bouira has been hosting Global Entrepreneurship Week, entitled ‘Let's build together’. To mark the occasion, a round table discussion on entrepreneurship in Algeria, entitled ‘Opportunities and Challenges’, was organised in the university auditorium. This session provided a platform to explore the many facets of the Algerian entrepreneurial ecosystem, highlight successes and identify persistent obstacles.

During Global Entrepreneurship Week, Soumia Chahinez Taleb (CDE) pointed out that more than 20,000 trainees are currently undergoing training and that 2,000 projects have been approved by Nesda, including 49 in Bouira, with 19 already operational.

Nadir Azizi (Anverdet) presented the support mechanisms for innovative projects—Nesda, Angem, the Self-Employed Agency, and the Start-up Fund—and highlighted Hackathons, which offer up to 2 million dinars to finance prototypes and certify emerging companies.

On the sidelines, agreements were signed between Akli Mohand Oulhadj University and various organizations, while the program continues with innovation competitions, conferences, and workshops, confirming the university's entrepreneurial momentum.
