Mobilis: 166 billion Algerian dinars in turnover in 2024

During a meeting with the media on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the El Aurassi Hotel (Algiers), Chaouki Boukhazani, CEO of Mobilis, Algeria's leading mobile operator https://mobilis.dz/, gave a very positive assessment of the last three years while highlighting the challenges of being the leader in the domestic market.

Spectacular growth

For many years (five to six years), Mobilis' turnover fluctuated around 122 billion Algerian dinars, with a record high of 126 billion. From 2022 onwards, the company reached new heights: in 2022, revenues reached 144 billion dinars, and in 2024, they reached 166 billion dinars,  a 35.8% growth in just three years.

‘We have achieved a real revolution in terms of turnover and market share,’ he said, emphasising that this revenue growth allows for additional investments that are essential to improving network quality and customer service.

23.1 million subscribers

Another symbolic figure is the number of subscribers to the public operator, which now stands at 23.1 million.

"Having the largest customer base in the country is a source of pride, but it also greatly increases the pressure and responsibility. As the number grows, so do expectations and needs." Thanks to excellent financial results, Mobilis has launched the largest program to modernize and densify its network: 5,000 sites are involved, 1,000 entirely new sites and 1,000 sites have migrated to 4G, while other sites have been upgraded in terms of capacity and speed.

This project represents approximately 50% of the entire Mobilis network. The first results are already visible: in 18 provinces, the average throughput has increased by more than 70% in just two months.

"There are still gaps and areas for improvement. But overall, Mobilis remains by far the leading Algerian operator in terms of revenue, number of subscribers, and network coverage," he said .
