Investment: Strengthening Algerian-Egyptian cooperation

On Monday, 10 November 2025, the Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), Omar Rekkache, welcomed the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Algeria, Abdel Latif Abdel Salam Abdo El-Layah, to the Agency's headquarters, in the presence of several senior executives.

A meeting between Algerian and Egyptian officials provided an opportunity to discuss strengthening cooperation on investment and preparing joint economic events, such as forums and business meetings. Both sides emphasized the complementarities between their economies and the strong potential for partnerships in various sectors. The CEO of the AAPI assured institutional support and personalized follow-up for Egyptian investors in Algeria. The Egyptian ambassador welcomed the economic reforms underway and the growing attractiveness of the Algerian market for Egyptian companies.
