Adrar: Minister of Industry orders acceleration of renovation work on brick factory

The Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir, has given firm instructions to accelerate the rehabilitation work on the brick factory located in the municipality of Fnougil, in the wilaya of Adrar, to ensure that it is back in service as soon as possible.

The ministry announced that the building materials factory, owned by SIMCA (a subsidiary of the GICA group), will contribute to job creation and local economic recovery. This unit, recovered by the State, is undergoing rehabilitation, which is 80% complete, in partnership with the public company SME Est. The aim is to integrate it sustainably into the industrial fabric of the South and to support the building materials sector. During his visit, Minister Yahia Bachir was briefed on the progress made, the technical difficulties encountered, and the corrective measures taken while inspecting the facilities currently being commissioned. The project is being supervised directly by GICA and SIMCA, in accordance with current technical standards.
