At the Algest subcontracting trade show, Industry Minister Yahia Bachir emphasised the importance of an integrated production model and the need to certify parts manufactured in Algeria. He considered the current integration rate to be "low," but is aiming for 30% in the early years and up to 60% in the long term.

Fiat Algeria, the only brand with a local factory in Tafraoui (Oran), is working hard to achieve these goals. Its president, Raoui Badji, has announced a 20% integration rate for the new Grande Panda model and a target of 30% by 2026. Since the end of 2023, more than 60,000 vehicles have been produced, with a forecast of 90,000 units in 2026.
