During his visit to the west of the country, Minister Djellaoui inspected several road projects, including the doubling of the RN92 between Saïda and Hassasna, as well as the RN6 between Sidi Amar and Taria. He announced the creation of regional groups of private companies, which will be called upon to collaborate with public companies to build and maintain major infrastructure, particularly in emergencies such as floods. A national census of the companies concerned will be launched, followed by a meeting at the ministry to present this new strategy.

This approach aims to strengthen public-private complementarity, enhance the efficiency of construction sites, and encourage private sector participation in calls for tenders. The minister praised the efforts made on the El Oukrif wadi construction site in Saïda and announced a study for the doubling of the RN6 between Mascara and Saïda, included in the 2026 program with a view to completion in 2027. Finally, he insisted on the rapid delivery of a 5 km section of the project to connect the East-West motorway to the municipalities of El Keurt and Hacine, to accelerate the commissioning of this strategic infrastructure.
