2025 motor vehicle vignette: Two announcements from the DGA

The Direction Générale des Impôts (DGA) (General Tax Directorate) has made two announcements concerning acquiring the automobile vignette for 025.

The Direction Générale des Impôts (DGA) announced on Tuesday that the acquisition period for the 2025 motorway tax sticker, initially scheduled to run from March 1 to March 31, has been exceptionally extended to April 30.

From Wednesday, March 5, a new digital platform called Kassimatouka will enable users to purchase the motorway tax sticker online using a CIB or Edahabia interbank card. This service (available 24/7) is designed to improve service quality and simplify vignette acquisition.

The DGA specifies that vignettes obtained online do not need to be affixed to the windscreen, but must be presented in paper or digital format in the event of an inspection. In the event of loss or destruction, the sticker can be reissued at no extra cost.
