Government Meeting: Review of the progress of the mining railway projects

The document states, "the planned preparations have made it possible to schedule the launch in June of this year of Annaba-Bouchegouf railway sections (54 km), Tébessa/Tenoukla bypass (43 km), and the branch line of the new Bled El Hadba deposit (23 km), in addition to the 177 km Oued Kebrit-Djebel Onk line, which will be delivered before the end of the current year".

"Progress was also reported on the development of Annaba mineral port, as well as the completion of the studies on the first section of Gara Djebilet mine railway line, covering 200 km from Béchar, before the end of June 2023," the document said.

In the area of public works and basic infrastructure, the press release adds, the Minister for the sector presented "a draft executive decree amending Executive Decree No. 18-312 of 10 December 2018 declaring public use order for the realization of the splitting, modernization and rectification of the eastern mining railway line ".
