DGI launches “Tatbiikom” new e-payment platform

On Tuesday, the Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI) (General Directorate of Taxes) announced the launch of a digital platform for users of vehicles and trucks wishing to travel to neighbouring countries, to pay for diesel consumption in cars and trucks, through an application called “Tatbiikom”.

Payment can be made by CIB or Dahabia card. The taxes applied are DZD 500 for light vehicles, DZD 3500 for commercial vehicles weighing less than 10 tonnes, and DZD 12000 for those weighing more than 10 tonnes. According to the Directorate General of Taxes, customs will carry out checks at border centres and points, and validate the payment slip for diesel consumption.
