Pharmaceutical industry: closer cooperation with Jordan

According to a press release from the Ministry of the Pharmaceutical Industry, yesterday in Algiers, the Jordanian Minister of Health, Firas Ibrahim Al Hawari, declared that cooperation between Algeria and Jordan in the pharmaceutical industry was “very fruitful”, stating his country's desire to strengthen this bilateral collaboration.

Leading a delegation of pharmaceutical operators to Algeria, the Jordanian minister praised the "very fruitful" cooperation between Jordan and Algeria in this field. He wished to strengthen this relationship by exchanging expertise, particularly in innovative pharmaceutical production.


The Secretary General of the Algerian Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry, Khaled Dahane, underlined the success of this cooperation, attended by three Jordanian companies operating in Algeria. He also stressed Algeria's objective of deepening bilateral trade integration and developing local production of pharmaceutical raw materials to reduce costs.

Discussions also focused on strengthening links between the two countries' national pharmaceutical regulatory agencies, intending to speed up the mutual registration and marketing of medicines.
