IATF 2025: Algerian companies sign contracts worth over $1.26 billion

The 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF-2025), held in Algiers, confirms the rise of Algerian industry in the African market. Halfway through the event, trade and investment agreements signed by national operators exceeded $1.26 billion.

Algeria is strengthening its economic presence in Africa with major agreements at the IATF 2025. The pharmaceutical sector stands out with $400 million in commitments, backed by the upcoming WHO Level 3 certification. GISB Electric signs a $480 million contract with SOGELUX for exports to Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire. INATEL partners with a Nigerian telecom operator for $300 million, while Condor signs $80 million in export contracts to North Africa. Other companies such as BCR, GETEX, MFG, and Perfect Max Industry are also developing their export strategies. With 75 countries participating, IATF 2025 confirms Algeria's desire to become a key player in the AfCFTA.
