Derbel in Tizi Ouzou to oversee progress on Souk Thlatha dam

This Saturday, Minister of Hydraulics Taha Derbel paid a working visit to the commune of Tadmaït, wilaya of Tizi Ouzou, to supervise the Souk Thlatha dam project. Accompanied by the wali, he heard a presentation on the overall situation in the wilaya from the wilaya director and a second presentation on the progress of the dam project.

Minister Derbel stressed the importance of the project to the inhabitants of the Tizi Ouzou wilaya, which will help improve drinking water supplies to the wilayas of Algiers, Boumerdes and Tizi Ouzou, with a reserve of 90 million m3.

The Minister also insisted on meeting completion deadlines and delivering the project as quickly as possible.
