Trade: Algerian-Tunisian cooperation opportunities examined

Zitouni and Abid discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of domestic trade, according to a statement from the ministry.

Encourage partnerships between economic operators in both countries

This meeting, held at the ministry's headquarters on the sidelines of the Tunisian minister's participation in the 4th edition of the IATF 2025, was an opportunity to reaffirm the willingness of both parties to develop bilateral cooperation, the statement said. The two ministers agreed to create joint workshops and exchange expertise and experiences, particularly in the areas of digitization, the commercial register and market regulation.

Both parties also emphasized the importance of encouraging partnerships between economic operators in both countries, which could open up new opportunities for cooperation and strengthen the process of economic integration between Algeria and Tunisia on a practical and sustainable basis.
