Algeria: €100 million agreement for the export of electrical equipment to Côte d'Ivoire

An agreement was signed on Saturday in Algiers between El Sewedy Electric Algeria and Sogelux. It concerns the export of Algerian electrical equipment to Côte d'Ivoire valued at 100 million euros. The signing took place on the sidelines of the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), held from September 4 to 10.

An agreement was signed between Elsewedy Electric Algeria and Sogelux to supply the Ivorian market with electrical equipment for five years, with exports estimated at €20 million per year, following a €4 million pilot project. The signing took place in the presence of Algerian officials, including the Director General of the AAPI and the President of the CREA, who encouraged companies to benefit from this momentum to establish partnerships. The Algerian product was praised for its quality and competitiveness, with strategic potential in the African market and an already established presence in several countries worldwide.
