Start-up: The Algerian Excellence Awards competition kicks off

The Algerian Excellence Awards competition, aimed at start-ups in the industrial, service and digital sectors, kicked off on Sunday, organizers announced.

In a statement to the press, Khadidja Soudani, Managing Director of Agence 360, the event's organizer, said that the awards ceremony would take place on May 14, on the sidelines of the first event of the Forum de l'innovation et de l'intelligence touristique, to be held at the Hôtel El-Aurassi, under the patronage of the Ministry of the Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises and the Ministry of Transport.


The aim of the competition is to “encourage young entrepreneurs to innovate, in support of the national economy”, said Ms Soudani.


With regard to the Innovation and Tourism Intelligence Forum, organized in collaboration with the private training institute Reversal, Ms Soudani announced that this first event would be devoted to the transport sector, and future editions to other sectors.
