Sonarem and Vesna explore new avenues for cooperation in mining

The CEO of the Sonarem Group, Belkacem Soltani, welcomed a delegation from Vesna, a subsidiary of the Russian state-owned conglomerate Gazprom, led by its CEO, Stanislav Khomenko, to the group's headquarters. Senior executives from both sides attended the meeting.

Sonarem presented its activities and expressed its desire to establish long-term partnerships, while the Russian side, notably Gazprom and Vesna, highlighted its technological and digital expertise in the extractive sector.


Technical discussions provided an opportunity to detail the respective skills of the two groups, particularly in terms of monitoring, remote control, and resource development.
The two parties agreed to continue discussions via video conference to identify specific areas of cooperation, with Gazprom having recognized experience in digital solutions applied to the mining sector.
