The aim of this partnership is to encourage open innovation and facilitate economic development by offering special discounts on airline tickets to labelled start-ups and by exhibiting the innovations of these companies at international level, in addition to organising workshops and conferences to promote this cooperation.

Speaking at the event, Mr Zerrouki stressed that Turkish Airlines had decided "to help Algerian start-ups to develop not only within the country but also abroad".

He also said that the company "will transport project holders to different parts of the world at a very attractive price, which will help to strengthen young skills in Algeria".
