North Star in Dubai: Prospects of Algerian-Emirati partnership in the field of startups at the interview center

The meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdel Aziz Al Ghurair, took place on the sidelines of the North Star 2023 trade fair, which opened on Sunday at the Dubai Port site. The talks between the two sides focused on the possibilities and conditions to attract Algerian startups and to offer them the means to settle permanently in Dubai, Zerrouki told APS news agency, stressing that the Emirati Minister welcomed "strongly the participation of Algerian companies in the North Star trade fair and Gitex Global, as one of the five largest foreign delegations of this event". 

The CEO of Algeria Venture also added that "the Emirati side has shown its willingness to open a permanent representation for Algerian startups and to finance their projects if they wish to set up in Dubai". "As part of our mission to create an ecosystem favorable to startups, we support our entrepreneurs to have more visibility internationally and to export themselves," underlined Mr. Zerrouki, in this context, adding that an initial proposal was made to the Emirati side to receive soon three Algerian startups able to project themselves in this perspective and which can expand their fields of action.
