news-detail

At the global event that began last Sunday at the Port of Dubai, the APS news agency met with a number of these entrepreneurs who are leading high-growth companies looking to expand their businesses by raising funds and building relationships with global players to grow their revenues and create opportunities for jobs.

The startups, gathered at the Algerian booth by the accelerator Algeria Venture, were unanimous in emphasizing the important role that startups can play in the development of the Algerian economy, emphasizing the added value generated by this fabric and its impact on the growth of services exports.

In this context, the founder of DIGIWAVES, Tarek Benazzouz, assured that his company provides digital solutions in the most difficult sectors, such as hydrocarbons and the automobile, making it possible to reduce the use of external parties.

Based in Algiers, this company offers innovative solutions to manufacturers, particularly in the field of machine maintenance, by reducing their costs by up to 30%.

These solutions were developed entirely by Algerian skills and can be integrated into the production systems of large companies with intelligent machines,” Benazzouz said, emphasizing his company’s focus on preserving data to ensure digital security and sovereignty.

Adel Miloudi, the company’s managing director  ” Qias Technologie” has developed an intelligent platform dedicated to the management and processing of measured data (weight, pressure, temperature and force) of various sensors and weighing instruments.

This first-of-its-kind platform manages the entire aspect of calibrating and verifying weighing instruments to validate commercial transactions.

Other startups, such as the fintech company “3S Pay”, showcased innovative solutions to boost business activities and secure transactions at the fair, which ends on Wednesday.

The startup, labeled by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and Startups, offers a portfolio of products and services addressing issues related to secure user identification, payment systems and the reliability of online payment.

Its leader Smail Hadjab, who has long experience abroad, said the solutions were developed by Algerian engineers to address the issue of cash and the movement of informal money.

These solutions are specifically designed for businesses seeking secure payment and allow transactions to be carried out at the retail and institutional levels without fear and risk of fraud, according to Mr. Hadjab, noting that these solutions were certified by the monetary authorities, in particular the Société d’automatisation des transactions interbancaires et de monétisation, and the Groupement du paiement électronique.
