These five operators represent, according to the press release, the entire value chain of a photovoltaic project, from engineering, to the supply of the necessary equipment (panels, load-bearing structures, etc.) available locally and internationally. , through civil engineering and construction, the press release said, stressing that these companies, with complementary professions, "have all the expertise necessary for the construction of a solar power plant".

This memorandum of understanding "materializes a common approach aimed at highlighting the industrial and engineering potential which our country already has on the one hand and to respond to the directions clearly displayed by the public authorities in terms of energy transition and security. ", underlines the same source.

"This initiative, carefully considered, allows to create a synergy between the local actors to take charge of the future projects of the government in terms of development of national capacities", declared the CEO of the company Nerta Solar Algeria, Abdelkrim Dziri, quoted in the press release.

For his part, the CEO of the Zergoun company which manufactures solar panels, Rahmoun Zergoun, "put forward the idea of ​​an industrial sector capable of creating thousands of jobs for young people and saving moreover our local consumption of gas resources ".

Club Energia is a think tank open to economic operators, specialists and academics wishing to get involved in the dynamics initiated by public authorities and responding to the demands of the field in the short and medium term.
