Committees on subcontracting, retrofitted equipment and electronics industry installed

The first committee is responsible for studying requests for exemption from customs duties and value added tax (VAT) on components and raw materials imported or acquired locally by subcontractors as part of their activities in accordance with to Executive Decree 20-311.

This new organizational framework aims to "promote and develop the activity of the production of components, spare parts and parts intended for industrial and general-purpose subcontracting".

The application of the fiscal and parafiscal advantages provided for in this executive decree makes it possible to develop small and medium-sized enterprises and small and medium-sized industries and with the establishment of a rule with an acceptable rate of integration, this will develop. in parallel with the expansion of subcontracting, which will create a real industrial fabric.

The second committee is responsible for examining applications for the granting of customs clearance authorizations for chains and production equipment renovated in accordance with the provisions of Executive Decree No. 20-312 laying down the conditions and procedures for granting the customs clearance authorization for refurbished production lines and equipment, as part of the production of goods and services.

This organizational framework aims to offer the possibility of importing renovated production lines and equipment at a lower cost within the reach of national operators, within the framework of the revival of the national production tool.

As for the 3rd committee, its mission is to issue its opinion on the technical assessment decisions presented by operators active in the field of production of electronic equipment and household appliances in order to benefit from the preferential tax system in accordance with Executive Decree 20- 313 governing this system which sets the conditions for access to the preferential tax system.

During this meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the ministry, Mr. Ait Ali Brahem chaired the installation of the specific appeals committees for the three aforementioned systems.
