Business climate in Algeria: "significant improvement"

Speaking at the APS news agency on the side-lines of the 4th session of the General Assembly of CNESE, Mr. Bouchenak Khelladi said that "the business climate in Algeria is improving significantly with the promulgation of the new law governing investment law", assuring that "such an improvement in the business climate will give a new impetus to economic development and promote productive investment, ensuring a transparent framework conducive to business and enterprise creation".

In this context, the president of the CNESE highlighted the number of investment projects registered with the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), since November 1, 2022, after the entry into force of the law on investments, until the end of March of the current year.

Quoting the Director General of AAPI, Mr. Bouchenak Khelladi said that the number of projects reached 1694 with a total investment value of over 845 billion DA and the creation of 44,630 direct jobs.
