ANAM grants mining exploration permits worth DZD413 million

These titles were granted at the end of the 50th mining permit auction session, of which the national call for tenders, launched in March 2020, covered the mining exploration of 21 sites located in 11 wilayas of the country. . 12 final bids were opened during this auction session, selected for the financial offers phase.

The requested mining sites are located in the wilayas of Biskra (2), M'sila, Ouargla and Illizi (2).

The two sites of the wilaya of Biskra are: the site of M'Haissel 2 for the exploitation of gypsum allocated by the company "Sarl Knauf Platre" for an amount of 8.15 million dinars and the site of Laaroussin for the exploitation of construction sand attributed to the company "Eeurl Adjelfaoun" for an amount of 30 million dinars.

Regarding the wilaya of M'sila, the Erg Ez Zbar site dedicated to the exploration of construction sand was awarded to the company "SNC Groupe Aliti" for 80 million dinars. The "RN 56 double track" site in the wilaya of Ouargla was awarded to the company "Sarl Zad El Hawa" for an amount of 45.4 million dinars intended for the exploration of Tufa.

Concerning the wilaya of Illizi, the two sites "Oued Ouan Askarenel" and "Oued In Adaoui" intended for the exploration of limestone were allocated to the company "Sarl Acosco" for, respectively, 91 million and 159 million dinars.

As a reminder, this national call for tender n 01 / ANAM / 2020 launched in March 2020 was held according to the president of ANAM, Smail El Djouzi, "in somewhat specific conditions due to the sanitary conditions we are going through, which forced us to postpone on several occasions the date of opening of the envelopes of the technical offers and the financial offers ".

At the end of the opening of the technical bids last October, the ANAM had announced 82 bids received, including 62 bids admissible after examination and 20 bids rejected for non-compliance with the requirements of the specifications.

"After examination of the files of the offers selected during the technical phase by the ad hoc committee, as stipulated by article 19 of the specifications, 32 offers were selected for the financial phase and 30 not retained", recalled Mr. El Djouzi.
