At the meeting, which took place at the Ministry’s headquarters, Mr. Zitouni stressed the “importance of raising economic relations up to political and diplomatic relations between the two countries, through the establishment of mechanisms to develop this cooperation, whether through trade or joint investments to serve the economy of the two countries,” the statement said.

For her part, the Chilean minister expressed her satisfaction with the level of relations between the two countries, which date back to 1963, expressing her country's readiness to strengthen cooperation, in addition to its development in a group encompassing several economic sectors, concludes the communiqué.
