The Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir, inaugurated a national trade show dedicated to industrial subcontracting, in the presence of the director of the AAPI. He emphasised that this sector is crucial for supporting local production, enhancing quality, and creating high-value-added jobs, in line with President Tebboune's goal of reaching 13% of industrial GDP by 2027. The automotive industry reflects this dynamic, relying on a solid network of subcontractors to move from assembly to true national production.
Organized by BASTP and the World Trade Centre Algeria under the slogan "Renewal for an integrated national industry," the exhibition welcomes Algerian and foreign companies (Italy, Germany, Poland), expects nearly 10,000 visitors, and offers B2B meetings, conferences, and round tables on technology and artificial intelligence. The sectors involved range from mechanics to mining, railways, desalination, renewable energies, and hydrocarbons. Several partnerships are expected to be concluded to strengthen the supply of spare parts and training, regarding national industrial integration.
