The 13th edition of NAPEC kicks off today: “Achieving an efficient energy mix through innovation”

This Monday marks the start of the 13th edition of the Africa & Mediterranean Energy & Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference (NAPEC 2025), which will take place over three days, from October 6 to 8, at the Oran Convention Centre (CCO).

The 13th edition of NAPEC (North Africa Energy & Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference) opened in Oran in the presence of senior Algerian officials, including the ministers of Energy, Mines, and Renewable Energy, as well as the heads of Sonatrach, ALNAFT, and the Hydrocarbons Regulatory Authority. This major gathering focuses on partnerships, investment, innovation, and technologies to accelerate the energy transition and promote an efficient energy mix.

With more than 500 exhibitors from 60 countries, NAPEC 2025 is the largest African and Mediterranean platform dedicated to the hydrocarbons, energy, and hydrogen sectors. The event addresses key issues, including the integration of clean energy, the development of hydrogen, decarbonization through new technologies, and the promotion of local content.

Conferences will focus on the potential of offshore and unconventional resources in Algeria, investment opportunities in the oil and gas sector, and global prospects for the hydrogen economy.
