In an interview with "EchoroukNews," Abdelhafid Adrar stated that "the average increase in retirement pensions will be around 3500 dinars," also revealing that "50,000 Algerian workers retire each year."

Regarding the total increases planned for retirees, the head of CNR disclosed that they will amount to "170 billion Algerian dinars," equivalent to 1.268 billion US dollars, noting a deficit in the fund of around 380 billion dinars for the year 2023.

Mr. Adrar also noted that the continuous hiring of workers, which reached half a million in the public sector, has mitigated the effects of the deficit recorded in the fund.
