Sonatrach: A program for strengthening safety culture and preventing accidents at work

The "rules of my security" program is explained through educational leaflets and short audio-visual documentaries, addressing different lines of the security rules to be taken into account during the exercise of the missions, according to the communiqué. 

The program is part of Sonatrach's efforts to consolidate the culture of prevention in the corporate infrastructure and is implemented concretely in the terms of the general declaration of the policy of health, safety and environment (HSE) of Sonatrach, based on the principle of risk management and based on the protection of the three main values, namely man, production tools, the environment and their preservation, states the same source. 

The program was launched at an awareness-raising meeting held at the headquarters of the Directorate General of Sonatrach and having addressed the HSE field, under the supervision of Mr. Rachid Hachichi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the group, in the presence of the directors and executives of the company. 

The "Safety Rules" program will be implemented, through a global awareness campaign at the company structures, with the aim of improving the efficiency of the HSE system, concludes the statement.
