During their talks, held on Monday at the Group's headquarters in the presence of its senior executives, the President of Bosch Africa, Markus Thill, gave a presentation on the Bosch Group's potential and development prospects in Africa, the press release states.

In this context, Mr Thill stressed that "Bosch" attaches "particular importance to Algeria, given its strategic position and its economic fabric", hailing "the great potential that Algeria has in terms of new and renewable energies".

The meeting was "an opportunity for the President of Bosch Africa to present his company's expertise in the maintenance of industrial structures and the manufacture of electrolyzers, which represent one of the most important components for the production of green hydrogen", adds the same source.

For his part, Mr. Hachichi highlighted "the great natural and human potential of Algeria and Sonatrach in particular, which has enabled the latter to forge strategic partnerships with the world's leading groups".

Hachichi took the opportunity to invite the German company's representatives to organize meetings with Sonatrach experts, intending to examine the most effective ways of defining partnership and cooperation opportunities between the two companies, particularly concerning green hydrogen, especially the local manufacture of electrolyzer components.

In a meeting with ThyssenKrupp's high-level delegation, led by the company's CEO Nadja Hakansson, the two sides discussed ways of strengthening cooperation, particularly in innovative technological solutions in manufacturing and energy transition.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for the development of bilateral relations, and the strengthening of joint investments, in the best interests of both parties.

According to the same source, ThyssenKrupp is a leading company in industry, technology, research, and development. It is active in key sectors such as decarbonization technologies, steel materials services in Europe and maritime systems. It also supports climate protection, the transition to clean energies and the digital transition.

The meeting is part of Sonatrach's "ongoing drive to strengthen international partnerships and develop innovative solutions tailored to the global changes involved in the energy and manufacturing sectors.
