Sonatrach and Baker Hughes aim to strengthen their partnership

Rachid Hachichi, Chairman and CEO of the Sonatrach Group, paid a working and inspection visit on Sunday to the headquarters of Algesco, a Sonatrach Group subsidiary based in Boufarik in the wilaya of Blida.

Sonatrach's CEO, Mr Hachichi, visited the facilities of the Algesco subsidiary, accompanied by Sonelgaz's CEO, Mr Mourad Adjal, and the Managing Director of the American company Baker Hughes,  Mr Lorenzo Simonelli. Algesco, owned by the three partners, specializes in industrial rotating equipment maintenance. The delegation visited the company's workshops and discussed its development plan. On the sidelines of the visit, the project to build the boosting facilities (phase III - stage 2) for the Hassi R'mel gas field was examined, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines. Discussions also focused on strengthening the partnership with Baker Hughes, notably through the re-launch of the joint venture APAC, dedicated to the manufacture and maintenance of equipment for the hydrocarbon chain. Baker Hughes, already involved alongside Sonatrach in several energy projects, is a global player recognized for its technological solutions in the sector.
