Bentaleb added that occupational risk prevention bodies within the company play “an important role in protecting workers against occupational accidents and illnesses, by stepping up monitoring of the application of health and safety rules, on the one hand, and providing advice to the employing company in this field, on the other”, as part of a “participative and professional approach, where the contribution of workers to the creation of a safe and healthy working environment is essential”.

Referring to occupational medicine, Bentaleb mentioned that “the year 2024 recorded 12,990 medical visits”, with the aim of “guaranteeing the safety and health of workers, as well as preserving the image of our country. He underlined “Algeria's commitment to protecting workers‘ rights in the workplace", pointing out that "the country has ratified 60 International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, 9 of which enshrine fundamental workers’ rights”.
