Medical treatment abroad: 30% discount on Air Algérie tickets for CNAS patients

A 30% discount on Air Algérie tickets will be granted to CNAS patients and their companions requiring treatment abroad.

A partnership agreement was signed on Saturday, December 14, 2024, between Air Algérie and the Caisse Nationale des Assurances Sociales des Travailleurs Salariés (CNAS) (National Fund for Social Insurance for Salaried Workers), relating to a 30% discount on airline tickets for CNAS patients requiring care abroad, as well as for their companions, the airline announced.

 

"Air Algérie also undertakes, under this agreement, to guarantee for this same category, priority registration on waiting lists in the event of full flights, to facilitate the movement of transferred patients," added the same source.

 

"This agreement reflects the vision shared by Air Algérie and the Caisse Nationale des Assurances Sociales des Travailleurs Salariés in terms of sustainable cooperation and underscores the national airline's commitment to supporting all categories of society," the press release added.

 

"This agreement facilitates the transport of patients with social insurance and their dependents who have received treatment outside the country and reduces the transport costs borne by the social security system for their benefit", said CNAS General Manager Nadir Kouadria.
