Algeria's air transport sector is about to enter a new phase. Meeting on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at the Ministry's head office, Saïd Sayoud, Minister of Transport, set the course for the modernization of Algiers international airport and the creation of a company dedicated to domestic flights.

The Minister, and senior officials, reviewed the airport's transformation plans to modernize infrastructure and integrate the latest technologies. He also assessed the measures needed to rapidly launch a new airline dedicated to domestic flights. Emphasizing innovation and speed of execution, he stressed the importance of implementing presidential directives to improve air connectivity and meet travelers' expectations.
