The International Handicrafts Fair in Oran focused on the digitization of the handicrafts sector. During a study day, Terguini Abdelhamid, Chief of Staff of the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, emphasized that digitization is essential for improving performance, transparency, and meeting citizens' needs efficiently. He highlighted the importance of technological tools for business climate improvement and protecting Algerian handicrafts from counterfeiting.


Feniniche Khadra, Director of Information Systems and Statistics, discussed trends in digitization, including enhancing public services, securing information, and supporting decision-making. The ministry's digitization program aims to connect administration with citizens, promote Algeria and its crafts, and create a secure digital infrastructure.
