Rezig hails the success of the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair in Algiers

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, described the fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), held at the Safex in Algiers, as a “real success.” Visiting the site in the late afternoon, the minister emphasized the importance of this event, which attracted a diverse audience, including Algerian economic operators, African partners, and visitors from America and Europe.

"The enthusiasm generated by Algerian products demonstrates their quality and reflects the expertise acquired through constant efforts since 2020, in accordance with the directives of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune," said Mr. Rezig. According to him, this growing interest confirms the relevance of the industrial and trade policies adopted by Algeria.

The Minister also praised the organization of the event, marked by a strong mobilization of authorities and technical teams. "The fair remained open until late evening, welcoming a steady stream of visitors and economic operators. This is tangible proof of the success of this edition and of the influence of our products on the continent", he added.

Expressing his ambition to see Algerian products gain new markets in Africa and Europe, Mr. Rezig emphasized Algeria's key role in boosting intra-African trade. " Our companies can be proud of their achievements, and this fair confirms Algeria's position as a key player in promoting African trade," he said.

In a festive atmosphere, punctuated by cultural and musical entertainment, visitors were able to discover the diversity and creativity of Algerian companies. For the minister, this friendly atmosphere illustrates both the dynamism of the national economy and the desire to strengthen partnerships with African countries.
