Waste recycling: calls to strengthen this sector

On Monday, members of parliament called for all financial and human resources needed to implement the new vision of the waste recycling project.

The plenary session, held at the parliament, aims to amend and supplement the law enacted in 2001 to establish a green economy by capitalizing on waste recycling.

 

The lawmaker, Zahir Nasseri, in attendance of the Minister for the Environment and Quality of Life Nadjiba Djilali, and the Minister for Relations with Parliament Kaouthar Kirikou, capitalized on the new law which should adapt to current transformations.

 

The parliamentarians insisted on unifying efforts and coordinating between the different ministerial sectors, namely the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of the Interior and the local authorities, to ensure greater simplicity and fiscal motivation within the framework of the law.
