Mouloud Khelif: IATF 2025 will make Algiers the economic capital of Africa

On the eve of the opening of the fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), scheduled for September 4-10 in Algiers, Algeria, is preparing to host one of the continent's most important economic events.

The IATF 2025, organized in Algiers by Afreximbank in partnership with the African Union and the AfCFTA Secretariat, promises to be a key moment for stimulating intra-African trade and accelerating the continent's economic integration. The event, which will bring together heads of state, investors, and entrepreneurs, will highlight a variety of sectors (industry, energy, agriculture, health, AI, etc.) and give pride of place to African startups. Algeria regards this as an opportunity to showcase its economic assets, attract foreign investment, promote its exports, and strengthen its role as a regional hub. The IATF will also serve as a springboard for structural initiatives such as the PAPSS and the African Startup Conference. More than just a trade show, it is a strategic platform for positioning Algeria as a gateway to African markets.
