Algeria and Russia examine mechanisms to increase economic trade

Algeria and Russia want to take their trade relations to the next level. On Wednesday, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion, Abdeslam Djahnit, and a Russian delegation examined mechanisms to increase economic trade.

During this meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the Algerian-Russian Economic and Trade Forum organized at the Aurassi Hotel on November 12 and 13, the two parties examined mechanisms to increase the volume of trade between the two countries, strengthen cooperation in the areas of exports, logistics, and technical standards, and encourage partnerships between operators in both countries, according to a statement from the ministry.

They also agreed to strengthen coordination between economic organizations and to hold events and trade shows to expand partnerships between Algerian and Russian economic operators.

Both parties also emphasized their commitment to working together to increase trade to higher levels, reflecting the depth of the historical relations between Algeria and the Russian Federation.
